I'm in color theory for print right now it's a bit rough. It's a 15 week class condensed to 5.5 weeks.

Pretty freaking awesome! If they teach you 4point perspective I will be insanely jealous!

In case you don't know this there's a general rule of thumb that if the edge of a block/building/whatever in a perspective drawing reaches a 90 degree angle at the corner (see the top of the tallest block in the top drawing) then it's actually distorted too much. This is all to do with representations of an imaginary circle of vision belonging to an imaginary viewer. It all gets fairly technical from there, but oh well!

Having said that, aside from the acute angle I mentioned this isn't bad! I need to practice perspective more myself. :)

* Forgot to add that I understand it may be due to limitations in paper size why the 90 degree angle is there in the first place. :P

3 point perspectives are so much fun to do. It makes you art so much more dynamic too.

it's interesting. sometimes it's hard to wrap my mind around it because, to me, it's easy to make your picture look just... distorted.
