tfoc: Dart redesign

EDIT: i managed to dig enough to find where his original profile got moved to. i guess i made just a couple of changes (mostly abilities), but they're for the better. XD

This is Dart... who I almost decided to rename Double Dash just for the fact that when I created him originally (around 2001) there were other tf fancharacters... in the same RPG i played him no less... with the same name. one belonging to . I've even drawn that character too... you can see that art here: [link]

i have one of the original versions of dart in the sketch up there in the design (it's from a much larger fanbot group shot i did a long time ago) and there were other drawings of this guy... but i've since lost them. or at least i don't have access to them now. i had one of him and korat's dart arguing with each other (from a fic she wrote actually) and... i had the original reference sheet i did for him along with his parter fury somewhere. ugh. i can't even find the profile i originally typed for the guy on the old rpg forum he was on. i guess he got scrapped. >.<

i'll redo the profile when i post more for him later, but... basically ... hmmm... let's see.

dart's function is a courrier, but he'd rather do anything else. he strongly dislikes fighting... or explosions... or anything that has to do with violence. he's not a pacifist, more so he's afraid of decepticons and they're just so darn violent. (my other tfoc rodeo intimidates him too) he often uses humor to hide his true feelings from most serious situations. sarcastic remarks, jokes, and stuff like that. Dart has a very guilty conscious and feels like a lot of the time when something he's involved in goes wrong, it's probably his fault... even when that's the not even close to the truth. he is actually the twin brother of the (tfoc) decepticon named mischief... and he couldn't be any more her opposite.

he carries two plasma pistols on holsters mounted at his hips. not the most powerful weapons in the world, but they're small and light. he would really hate to carry anything larger because it would only slow him down (dart: seriously... like a sword? who the frag needs a sword???). he would only carry one, but he carries two because he often will lose one or forget to bring back-up ammo... or... one of the weapons will break due to carelessness or lack of proper maintenance. he doesn't carry them because he feels he NEEDS them. he carries them because he's ordered to have a weapon on him. he's not really a speedster, but his speed is a bit above average thanks to some modifications (vents, turbo boosts). he would have you believe the speed is to help him do his job, but in his mind the boosts work MUCH better for running away from battle. (Dart: OMGGETMEOUTTAHEEEEERRRREEEEEE!)

his alt mode is a rally car (like a wrx... or a ford focus... or something along those lines. he was originally a dodge dart). he needed an alt mode on earth that was small and quick and that would be able to traverse most terrain.

dart is partnered with another bot named fury. fury (who i have to redesign too) often views dart as the little brother he never had and dart looks up to fury much like a older sibling. fury is always standing up for dart... covering his aft when he gets in trouble, which is something that happens a lot.
